Two houses in Paris testify to the life of Molière. He was born in 1622 in the house at N°.21 Rue Saint-Honoré. Taken ill on stage at the Palais Royal on 17th February 1673, he was transported , close to death, to the house at N°.40 Rue de Richelieu.
