Erected from 1508 to 1522, this tower is 52 metres high and is a pure example of the flamboyant Gothic style. Narrow windows alternate with niches surmounted by spires and pinnacles between which stand numerous statues. The statue at the top of the tower portrays St. James the Elder and is the work of Chenillon from 1870. Another statue, this one portraying Pascal, is positioned at the base of the tower beneath the vaults.
